The model, with its distinctive eyebrow-shaped browline, was created in the 1950s. It began when an officer with thin eyebrows asked for it to be made to give him a sense of dignity. It was then popularized among the U.S. military and quickly spread throughout the world. It is also famous for being worn by Malcolm X, the black liberation leader.
In Japan, it took the world by storm in the 1960s and has been loved for a long time since.
This “BROW” expresses the good old American craftsmanship while at the same time being made to fit the Japanese face and frame.
